Well do you remember calling your crush your Moon, well this Moon has a Dark side. No, not your crush but the actual Moon, satellite of our planet. If, you ever see the Moon closely it always shows the same side though the light reflecting surface keep changing.
So why this happens?
Well, this happens due the conincidental relation between the Moon rotation and the Moon's revolution. Moon rotation takes equal amount of time as moon's revolution around the Earth that's why we have only one side facing towards us and other one is always far from us.
So does that mean that Moon always has the one side dark?
No, it do get equal light like the other side of Moon. But, the thing is that it is not visible to us. The so called Dark Side gets full sunshine Solar eclipses.
