Azerbaijan did not accept ceasefire even for a second: Armenia

The President of Armenia has said that his army has suffered a big loss in the ongoing skirmish with Azerbaijan in Nargon-Karabakh. During an address on television, President Nicole Pashinyan stated that there has been a loss in Azmin of Armenia, although general control remains.

Pashinyan accused Azerbaijan of violating the ceasefire, saying, "Azerbaijan has not considered a ceasefire for even a second and is still attacking there. This means that Azerbaijan is trying to occupy the whole area (from the beginning) Has declared itself) is following its policy. "

Regarding the loss from Azerbaijan in the Nargono-Karabakh region, Pashinyan said that he mourns the martyrdom of his heroes who lost their lives in defense of their homeland.

He said that the main objective of this address is to talk about our strategy and what we are doing and to encourage national unity on what we are doing. Therefore, we need to record that the Turkish-Azerbaijan alliance will not stop its attack on Nargono-Karabakh and Armenia on this pretext.

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's President, Ilham Aliev, accused Armenia of trying to attack its country's gas pipe lines and warned of a "serious reaction".

Rust can spread from jars across the country

The attack by Azerbaijan with a missile on a target in Armenia could become a major and turning point in the war of Nargono-Karabakh. This is the first time an attack has been carried out outside of Nargono-Karabakh in Armenia and both countries have also confirmed this fact.

Azerbaijan has claimed to have destroyed the rocket launcher deployed while targeting one of its cities on the border. Arsenia's Ministry of Defense press secretary Shushain Stefanyan said that this was an estimate and so far Armenia has not fired from its territory in Azerbaijan.

At the beginning of the war, Armenia spoke of an airstrike on its border town Vardenis and said that during that time, the Turkish fighter plane had killed a fighter plane in Armenia. However, he did not provide strong evidence for this. On the other hand, Azerbaijan claimed that Armenia is rocketing its cities from its border, but people have not yet seen evidence of this.

Now Armenia's press secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stefanayan has announced that Armenia has the right to attack army bases in enemy territory. Azerbaijan also made the same statement. Now if the skirmishes continue on the border, then it will mean that this war has spread beyond Karabakh and spread across the entire border of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In addition, theoretically it can also affect international politics. Armenia is a member of the CSTO military alliance with Russia. That is, if the attack on its territory is confirmed, Russia can interfere in this war in favor of its ally. However, till now Russia has been trying to play the role of a mediator in order to strike a balance between the two countries.

The war continues on the eighteenth day

The last two weeks of fighting between Azerbaijan and Armenia for the region of Nagorno-Karabakh have not stopped yet.

Despite attempts by Russia to mediate, the two countries have been fighting for control of the region since the 1990s and the conflict has intensified in recent weeks.

Wednesday is the 18th day of this battle.

Azerbaijan says that Nagorno-Karabakh has been recognized internationally as part of Azerbaijan.

On the other hand, Armenia maintains that Ngorno Karabakh has historically been home to Armenians and was part of Armenia for centuries.

Nagorno-Karabakh has been a cause of tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which had been part of the former Soviet Union for decades.

On Saturday, a ceasefire agreement was announced in Russia's mediation between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the fighting over Nargon-Karabakh.

However, this agreement could not be maintained properly for a single day.

Future can change with missile strike

A missile strike fired by Azerbaijan in Armenia on Tuesday night may give a new twist to this conflict.

This is the first time Azerbaijan has accepted an attack outside of the unrecognized Nargono-Karabakh.

Azerbaijan has claimed to have destroyed a missile launcher deployed near its border, the target of which was a city in Azerbaijan.

However, Armenia's Ministry of Defense has denied this.

The press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry said that this was just an estimate and that Armenia has not fired in the territory of Azerbaijan so far.

Will Russia intervene?

This missile strike can also have international and political consequences.

Unlike Azerbaijan, Armenia is a member of the CACTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) with Russia. That is, the attack on Army can cause interference in the conflict from Russia.

So far, Russia has tried to strike a balance between the warring countries and play the role of a mediator.

Currently, both countries are accusing each other of aggression. In the agreement reached on Saturday, both sides agreed on the exchange of prisoners and dead bodies, but this process has not started yet.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has appealed to both sides to abide by the ceasefire. On the other hand, Turkey is openly supporting Azerbaijan.

Amidst the war and violence, the World Health Organization is worried that during this period the possibility of spreading corona infection in the war-torn areas has increased manifold.
